Dr. Dan Wilder is an optometrist who specializes in comprehensive eye care and fitting contact lenses.
After graduating as a proud Poet from Sidney Lanier High School, Dr. Wilder went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Alabama in 2000. He then acquired his Doctorate of Optometry from the University Of Alabama Birmingham School Of Optometry in 2004. Wilder then moved to Tahlequah, Oklahoma, the capital of the Cherokee Nation, to further his studies and completed a residency program in Family Practice Optometry in 2005.
Dr. Wilder resides on the Eastern Shore of Alabama and has been practicing primary eye care and contact lens fittings for over 17 years. He has been heavily involved in glaucoma research to help those individuals with this irreversible disease.
Dr. Wilder practices out of our Fairhope, Alabama office.
