Dr. Corder received her M.D. from the Wayne State School of Medicine and completed her residency at the Detroit Medical Center in Michigan. Her fellowship in Orbit, Oculoplastic, and Reconstructive Surgery was at the Kresge Eye Institute. Dr. Corder is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She founded her own ophthalmology practice in 2009 after working as a comprehensive Ophthalmologist in the Tallahassee and Pensacola, FL areas for over 15 years. She is passionate about the ophthalmology profession and is looking forward to helping a wide array of Southern Eye Group patients.
As an experienced ophthalmologist Dr. Corder has multiple areas of focus. Her most common surgeries are functional and cosmetic eyelid surgeries including: Blepharoplasty, ptosis repair, entropion and ectropion repair and skin cancer reconstructions. Dr. Corder performs diabetic eye exams as well.
In her leisure time she enjoys downhill skiing, cooking, genealogy, and travel.
Dr. Corder practices out of our Pensacola, Florida office.
