Dr. Linda Slade, a native of Mobile, graduated from the University of South Alabama with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology in 1983. Over the subsequent decade, she applied her expertise to the Clinical Laboratory at University Hospital from 1983 to 1993. In 1997, she earned her Doctor of Optometry Degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry. Dr. Slade further honed her skills through a residency program in ocular disease at Bay Pines VAMC, completing the program in 1998.
Dr. Slade is devoted to providing comprehensive eye care for both children and adults. Her specialized focus encompasses ocular disease management, spectacle corrections, and contact lens fittings.
Outside her professional commitments, Dr. Slade cherishes her time with her two daughters, family, friends and church community. Her interests include the outdoors, travel, history, ballet and theatre.
Dr. Slade practices out of our West Mobile office.
