Dr. Isen is a board-certified neuro-ophthalmologist who specializes in disorders of the optic nerve, visual pathways of the brain, pupillary abnormalities, double vision, and eye pain.
Dr. Isen grew up in Minneapolis, MN. She received her medical degree from Midwestern University—Glendale, Arizona. She then completed her neurology residency at the University of South Alabama, followed by a neuro-ophthalmology fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Callahan Eye Hospital. Afterward, she practiced there as an assistant professor of neuro-ophthalmology for two years.
She mentors residents and medical students and participates in clinical research. When not working, she enjoys singing and spending time with her husband and daughter.
Dr. Isen will be practicing out of our West Mobile location.
